Dr. Storms has practiced in Southern Colorado since 1975 and is a Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

Biography:

William W. Storms, M.D., is a Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver Colorado, a member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) Sports Medicine Advisory Committee and a member of NIH NAEPP Coordinating Committee (Asthma Guidelines Committee).
Dr. Storms is the former President of Western Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and former President of Colorado Allergy Society.
He is a Fellow with the American Academy of Allergy, American College of Allergy, American College of Physicians, and American College of Chest Physicians.
William W. Storms, M.D. is the recipient of the Distinguished Fellow Award of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
He received his BA from Northwest University, MD from University of Wisconsin, Internship from San Francisco General Hospital, Internal Medicine Residency from University of Wisconsin, and Immunology Fellowship from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Dr. Storms is an Associate Editor for Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Asthma and is a reviewer for the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology; Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Chest and ADIS International. He has published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals on asthma and allergy.
